Résumé

Cyberspace is probably the foreign policy domain where Obama’s legacy will turn out to be the most important. It is by far the area which has witnessed the most rapid and striking new developments. Under Obama’s watch, this new environment, born out of the global interconnection of information and communication systems, has become a new military domain and a strategic priority for the United States – and many other countries in the world – along with a critical issue in diplomatic relations. More than any other issue, cyber policy-making revealed the multifaceted nature of Obama’s approach to global strategic and security challenge.
