Towards a dance co-creation with robots
Résumé
Over the past decades, the interaction possibilities of humanoid robots have been assessed in different environments and conditions. Our study is centered around an HRP-4 robot in the context of dance improvisation with a performer and a virtual ecosystem. By analyzing the creative effect of artificial agents on the performer and emulating their response, we aim to reach a state of human to robot co-creation inspired by the feeling of empathy. This contributes to the development of transdisciplinary interactive art forms that question interactivity with both virtual and physical agents.
